DAY 2: NEGOMBO / ANURADHAPURA / JAFFNA

 

  • Today, proceed towards the north central province of the island to explore Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most significant ancient capitals, where timeless heritage meets natural beauty.

  • Next proceed to Jaffna.

DAY 3: JAFFNA /NALLUR KOVIL / JAFFNA FORT /  POINT PEDRO/ JAFFNA

 

  • Today, visit one of the most iconic Hindu Temples in the island, built in the 15th Century with Dravidian-style architecture, to explore and learn about the Hindu culture and Hindu deities.

  • Next, proceed to visit the Jaffna Fort, built by the Portuguese and reinforced by the Dutch, up to date stands strong as one of the best-preserved colonial forts in Sri Lanka.

  • It is time to see the northernmost tip of Sri Lanka “Point Pedro”, a coastal paradise destination where the Indian Ocean meets golden sands of Ceylon.

DAY 4: TRINCOMALEE / KONEESHWARAM / MARBLE BEACH/ TRINCOMALEE

  • Today after an early start, proceed to climb the awe-inspiring 8th world wonder of Sigiriya Rock Fortress, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and an iconic landmark that depicts the rich cultural history of Sri Lanka.

  • Afterwards, enjoy a safari in the Minneriya National Park, a haven for the elephants in the region.
